So what has made Ambwene Allen Yessayah better known as AY consistent
within Bongo Flava Music genre!? Is it because of his solid management?
Or is it because he was once backed up by his crew-East Coast Team .!?

Assuredly he has got another secret.
I first met with him way back in 2003 when he was performing somewhere in Dodoma. During that time he had produced only a couple of songs and his fame was still at low profile.
I remember he performed songs like Miiko kumi ya rap(featured by Crazy GK),Machoni kama watu(featuring Lady Jaydee)Ni raha tu(featuring Complex-RIP).
But ever since the guy has been consistent within his music
career.Producing one hit song after another has been part and parcel of
his music integrity and commitment. Among the reason is basically his
personality.
He is very humble guy. I have never seen him drinking or smoking. His personal life especially aside music career has been so private. It’s only last month that he posted his girlfriend on Instagram. Although he is surrounded by fellow musicians who others are of different personalities but his image is always notable amongst them.
Self discipline isn’t an easy task but our legend AY has made it. Perhaps for young upcoming artists you should learn such ethics from our brother.
Big up AY
